Leonardo Palhares, partner of the Intellectual Property and Technology Department of Almeida Advogados and Vice President of Strategy of the Brazilian Chamber of E-Commerce (“camara-e.net”), was invited to attend the next session of UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law), a commission of the United Nations that was created in 1966 to promote the harmonization and modernization of rules on international business.
Leonardo participated at the 48th Session of the E-Commerce Working Group in November to present the Brazilian perspective and experience on the matter.
The next session will be held from 27 June to 15 July 2016, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
