FEDERAL REVENUE CHANGES THE LIST OF TAX HEAVENS
On June 7th the Normative Act n° 1.037 was published by Brazilian Internal Revenue which changed the list of countries and jurisdictions considered as Tax Havens (the so called “Black List”). This Normative Act also included on the “Black List” the entities qualified as Favorable Tax Regimes. In the referred article the attorneys Fábio Tadeu Ramos Fernandes and Melina Joice Fioravante presents the legal implication of the “Black List” for all tax purposes and the courts controversy about the concept of Favorable Tax Regimes.
